This 1994 GMC Vandura is a fully realized "Mystery Machine"
tribute, built by Dave Emerson and completed in January 2026. It's
powered by its original 4.3-liter V6 paired with a four-speed
automatic transmission, and was fully serviced during its
restoration with a tuneup, fluid service, and a fresh battery.
Finished in blue, green, and orange with a white roof, the exterior
wears correct "Mystery Machine" side vinyl decals, custom 15-inch
six-hole wheels, ambulance-style rear doors, and novelty "Zoinks"
plates.
The fun continues inside, with Fiat 500-sourced sport bucket seats
trimmed in black cloth with brown accents, Scooby-Doo headrest
covers, Mystery Machine backrests, and blue, green, and orange shag
carpeting. The rear features a custom entertainment center with a
Samsung TV, electric fireplace, armchair, storage bins, and
functioning overhead disco lights, along with framed Mystery Inc.
gang posters and Scooby-Doo memorabilia throughout the cabin. The
van is also equipped with an electronic starter and kill
switch.
