This is a very cool, well-maintained 1966 Ford Mustang finished in
factory-correct Springtime Yellow paint, which still retains a nice
gloss. Both the front and rear bumpers shine beautifully and
complement the rest of the brightwork very well. Weatherstripping
and glass are in good condition, and both doors, the trunk, and the
hood shut solidly. The light lenses are clean and clear all the way
around.
This is a low-option, simple Mustang that perfectly captures the
vibe of the 1960s. The hubcaps are correct, badges are present and
proper, and the body lines and panel gaps look straight and tidy.
It's the kind of classic that keeps things original and honest
while still turning heads with its clean presentation.
The tan interior complements the Springtime Yellow exterior nicely.
The beige bucket seats present well, and the matching door panels,
dash pad, and carpet are all in good condition. The woodgrain
Mustang steering wheel is correct for the year, and the gauge
cluster is clean and easy to read. An older-style AM/FM/Cassette
radio has been installed for cruising tunes. Below that are the
chrome climate controls and the air conditioning box (will need
servicing to blow cold). A chrome floor T-shifter sits within easy
reach, adding a sporty touch to the cabin. Out back, the trunk is
clean with a liner and a spare tire in place.
Under the hood, things appear mostly stock. Power comes from a 200
cubic-inch inline-6 which received a recent tune up, painted Ford
Blue and paired with a C4 3-speed automatic transmission. The front
and rear suspension remain in stock form, along with manual drum
brakes at all four corners. The Mustang rides on 14-inch wheels
with Ford hubcaps, wrapped in 195/75R14 tires. A single stock-style
exhaust runs to the rear, keeping the car authentic in both sound
and appearance.
