Here we have a beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Nomad-one of the most
sought-after Chevys of its era. The Tropical Turquoise paint
presents exceptionally well and pops against the crisp white top.
All chrome and brightwork are sharp, clean, and properly fitted.
The chrome grille and rear trim pair perfectly with the classic
15-inch Cragar wheels, giving this Nomad a show-ready, cruise-night
stance. The exhaust exits just right, clean and purposeful. What
you see is what you get-and what you get is near perfection.
That same attention to detail continues inside. The Turquoise and
White seats are in great shape and complement the matching door
panels. The dashboard, painted to match the exterior, remains in
very good condition. The gauge cluster is clear and retains a
factory appearance. A chrome steering column and custom steering
wheel add just the right amount of flair. The radio is aftermarket,
but stock-appearing, and mounted under the dashboard is a three-pod
AutoGage cluster that includes water, temp, and volts. The carpets
are nice and clean, the Hurst floor shifter adds a performance
vibe, and the door jambs and weather stripping are in good shape,
helping the doors and hatch shut solidly.
Under the hood, the show quality continues. An aluminum radiator,
equipped with a belt-driven fan, maintains optimal temperatures.
Chrome accents and black-painted inner fenders and firewall deliver
a detailed, finished presentation. Power comes from a 327
cubic-inch V8 topped with an Edelbrock intake and dual four-barrel
Edelbrock carburetors. It's paired to a Richmond 6-speed manual
transmission, giving this Nomad modern drivability. Up front, coil
springs and tubular control arms enhance handling, while the rear
retains a stock-style leaf spring and shock setup. Four-wheel power
disc brakes provide confident stopping. The 15-inch Cragars are
wrapped in 225/60R15 tires. Shorty headers feed a dual exhaust
system with Super Turbo mufflers, producing a strong, unmistakable
muscle car tone.
