This 1986 Chevrolet C10 Silverado has an absolutely stunning
appearance. The red and white paint complement each other
beautifully, and the wheels and tires give the truck an exceptional
stance. The front grille is original, and the chrome bumper shines
bright. Out back, the rear bumper integrates seamlessly with the
truck bed, giving the rear a very smooth look. The tailpipes also
help the smooth look by sticking out just enough to be seen without
being outrageous. The bed of the truck is red and looks like it has
hardly been used, but if someone wanted to put it to work, there is
a nice heavy-duty rubber floor mat for paint protection.
The interior is black and very stock-appearing. The seats and door
panels are in good condition and feel nice. The carpets and
headliner are clean and fit very well. The dash pad looks new,
while the gauge cluster is stock yet still easy to read. All the
glass, weather stripping, door jambs, and sills are in good shape
and free of major damage. For audio entertainment, there is a
Kenwood head unit that offers AM/FM radio, a CD player, auxiliary
inputs, and Bluetooth capabilities. Power locks, power windows, and
a tilt steering column are all there for driver convenience.
The engine bay of this beautiful truck is another highlight. Not
only does it look good, but it also hosts a Blueprint 350
cubic-inch V8 equipped with aluminum heads, a hydraulic roller cam,
an aftermarket intake, and a Holley 4-barrel carburetor. Backing
that engine is the very well-respected 700R4 4-speed automatic that
runs back to a 10-bolt rear axle.
Front suspension features A-arms with coil springs and shocks,
while the rear features leaf springs with shocks. Up front are
18-inch Ridler wheels, while the rear sports 20-inch Ridlers. These
iconic wheels come wrapped in front 235/55R18 tires and rear
275/55R20 tires. For stopping power, the truck depends on front
power disc brakes and rear power drum brakes. For a nice truck
sound, there are long-tube headers and dual exhaust that run
through a set of Turbo mufflers.
