Here is an attractive 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS that's ready for
some major street cruising. You don't see these in this good of
shape too often. Outside of the beautiful Ridler wheels, this car
looks like it just rolled off the assembly line in 1968. The Ermine
White exterior paint with the red painted stripes is something
every Camaro and car enthusiast will appreciate. The chrome bumpers
are in great shape, and the hideaway headlights now use LED
lighting. With straight body panels, this Camaro will surely grab
attention at any car show.
The all-red interior looks just as impressive. The bench vinyl
seats look and feel brand new, the door panels match perfectly, and
the dashboard maintains its original appearance, looking hardly
touched. Aftermarket Dakota gauges bring a nice glow to the
interior, and a retro radio adds the tunes. An EFI screen in front
of the ashtray adds to the gauges and monitors the engine's
performance. The carpets fit nicely and are clean, and red rubber
floor mats help keep them that way. The chrome three-spoke RS
steering wheel looks beautiful with its red steering wheel rim. For
an added option, a red center console comes with the Camaro.
Under the hood is a very clean setup. The 327 cubic-inch V8 is
painted Chevy Orange and uses a Holley Sniper Electronic Fuel
Injection System. Other upgrades include a chrome air cleaner
cover, polished valve covers, an aluminum radiator with an electric
fan, and an Optimal Red Top battery. The drivetrain features a
2-speed Powerglide transmission that connects to a 10-bolt rear
axle. The suspension includes front A-arms with coil springs and
shocks, and leaf springs with shocks in the rear. To help keep the
ride comfortable, the Camaro has 215/45R17 front tires and
235/55R17 rear tires. Helping the appearance and stance of this
fresh ride are even fresher 17-inch Ridler rims. Power disc brakes
at all four corners provide confident stopping power. And for a
nice muscle car sound, stock-style manifolds run to dual exhaust
with an aftermarket Aero muffler.
