Only 165 miles since completion, this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro LS3 Pro
Touring displays its blue paint across a complete frame-off
six-figure build by GM Muscle in Hudson, FL. The SS396 tribute
exterior includes SS badging, SS grille, front chin spoiler, and
vent trim hood. Chrome US Mag 18" wheels support 275/35ZR18 front
and 315/30ZR18 rear tires for that old school muscle stance. The
blackout-style rear panel completes the big block appearance while
the professional respray maintains excellent gloss with precise
panel gaps throughout. Billet hood hinges with hydraulic shocks add
functional detail to the engine compartment access.
Black and white houndstooth TMI sport bucket seats create bold
contrast against the black interior surfaces. The Shiftworks
console shifter manages the 4L60E transmission while aftermarket
gauges monitor engine functions. Retrosound radio provides AM/FM
and auxiliary input capability, and the vintage air system control
head manages cabin temperature. Air conditioning and power steering
enhance daily operation. The headliner and carpet maintain their
new condition while faux wood trim accents the center console. The
dash pad remains free of cracks or warping.
The 6.2L LS3 V8 with electronic fuel injection produces power
through its aftermarket aluminum intake manifold and long tube
headers. The 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission sends power to
the Currie Ford 9" rear axle with 3.55 gears. SpeedTech Pro Touring
track time subframe supports tubular A-arms and Viking adjustable
coilovers. Wilwood power disc brakes provide stopping capability
while the CVF serpentine system and aluminum radiator with dual
electric fans handle cooling duties. Dual exhaust with turbo
mufflers completes the powertrain setup.
