For Sale: 1941 Ford Woody Wagon in Lexington, Kentucky

Vehicle Description

This 1941 Ford Station Wagon Super Deluxe was first bought by Calumet Farm, Lexington, Kentucky and then bought by a collector in 1968 who lives 4 miles east of Calumet Farm. He partially restored it and it has been garaged since 1968. Original paperwork is from the Ford Dealer in Lexington Ky. Calumet Farm's "Whirlaway" won the Triple Crown in 1941.

First Owner - Calumet Farm, 1941, Lexington, Kentucky, where it was used it on the farm. It has a Columbia Rear End.

Second Owner - Martin R. Pitts, Lexington, Kentucky restored the wood. Engine and interior is all original. Pitts drove it to birthday pool parties to the Lexington Country Club with the kids. The Piits drove it to The Henry Ford Museum in the 1970's.

This Super Deluxe, was rated at 90 hp. The chassis was longer, with a 114-in (2.9-m) wheelbase.
