Nice 1966 Mustang Coupe. Purchased from original owner in 2016 as a
really clean original car.Had a cosmetic and mechanical refresh to
get the car ready for Hot Rod Power Tour 2017. The Mustang
completed 2,500 miles during HRPT in June 2017 with no problem.This
is a Factory (not dealer) AC car and shows "AIR COND" on the body
buck tag. The warranty tag is missing, but we believe the car was
originally a blue/blue 289 car.The original owner replaced the 289
with a factory service replacement engine some time during his
ownership.For the HRPT prep, the following was completed:New paint
in Wimbledon White w/blue Shelby stripesNew rear bumper, many new
chrome trim piecesNew blue Pony interiorRebuild of front
suspensionNew shocks & springs (front & rear)New exhaustNew wheels
& tiresNew fuel tankNew radiatorNew hoses and beltsNew batteryAC
chargeThe car is extremely solid underneath -- no signs of rust in
floor boards, trunk floors, frame rails, etc. Very minor bodywork
was required at the time of repaint.This is a solid, driver quality
Mustang, not a fully restored car. This one is ready to drive, even
long distance, and show.
