Vehicle Description
The GTX represented Chrysler's blend of style and performance in
the 1960's. The trim level on these cars are high. Well-appointed
interiors and stylish exterior trim was complimented by a base
motor consisting of 440 CID and rated at 375 HP. The only other
engine option was the 426 Hemi. For 1968, after only one year in
production, the GTX received a new look. The body was redesigned to
a more hourglass look giving the car an overall more aggressive
look and stance.
The 1969 GTX offered here has been owned by the same owner for the
last 40 years. If is powered by a 375 horsepower 440 v8 paired to a
727 automatic transmission. The car originally came from Kentucky.
It was repainted in 1981-82. In 2013 the car received a new
"Painless Wiring" wiring harness. The car comes with a new
headliner and sun visors that are ready to install and some old
factory chrome pieces. The car also comes with a copy of the
Broadcast sheet for the car. The car has a newer alternator, power
steering, Sun Super tach, aftermarket oil pressure and water
temperature gauges, center console, AM radio, spare tire and jack,
and owner's manual. The car looks good for its age and just needs a
new owner.
