Vehicle Description
Description
This outstanding example is done in a different style of Mercury
that is stunning. Most of these are done in the low rider custom
vein, this one has been built with a nod towards Nascar of the
early 50s, (albeit with quite a few modern and comfort oriented
features added) when in June 1950 Bill Blair won Nascar at Vernon
Fairgrounds in Vernon, NY in a '50 Merc. This one is a 3 year frame
off restoration with all the right goods added to it to make it a
reliable and comfortable driver. The paint, glass, trim interior
are all near perfect and it runs like a Swiss watch. The fuel
injected 350 V8 has the power and runs down the road great helped
out with the 700R4 transmission. Not to mention the leather
interior, air conditioning, new wiring, and a CD/DVD player for
front and rear. It has always desirable power steering and 4 wheel
disc brakes that make it a pleasure to cruise in. Don't hesitate on
this rare 51 Mercury, it won't last long.
