cars. Today we are proud to present this awesome 1967 Volkswagen
Squareback. These were beloved cars to compete with the Corvair of
the day and VW fans still love these to this day. They are hard to
come by and especially this clean. This car has been completely
redone and hardly has any miles on it since. As you can see the
House of Colors Tangerine paint catches your attention from just
about anywhere. This car is done to a great level and we don't
thing that you could build it for the price. Get ready to make a
lot of new friends when you get behind the wheel of this baby.
As you will see in the pics, the interior has been completely
redone as well. The leather bucket seats up front to all of the new
carpet and headliner and new slideback top have all been replaced
and redone. This interior may not be stock, but it id one to a
great standard and goes awesome with the rest of the car.
Under the rear engine cover sits the original 1600 CC "pancake"
motor as it was called. Everything has been done on this motor and
it is sporting dual carbs. This was the last year for carbs as VW
went to fuel injection in 1968. This is the last, and best year to
have of this vehicle. The trans was rebuilt as well and this baby
just purrs like a kitten from the time you fire it up to the time
you start going through the gears. This is simply one fun vehicle
to drive. It is not about horsepower, it is about looks and being
cool. You will also draw a lot of attention not just with the paint
but the awesome chrome Porsche wheels this baby is wearing.
As you look underneath you will see that everything has been done
under there as well from the torsion bar suspension to the new disc
and drum brakes on the vehicle. This is just one awesome car that
you have to own. Put a roof rack on it if you want to and strap
your boards to it and go catch some waves. You will be the talk of
the beach in this baby.
