actual miles and shows little signs of wear for the age. The Red
exterior paint and the Black stripes are a great contrast for this
car that just happens to be one of the most desired Hot Rods of
yesteryear and still desired today. The Red Line Tires surround the
Oldsmobile Rally's that also look especially nice with the paint.
Inside you will find bucket seats (beautiful and comfortable),
center console with shifter, rear bench seats, nice headliner and
great carpet. Inside creature comforts also include easier driving
made by power brakes (4-wheel drum), power steering and a
specialoption of the correct 400 Turbo Automatic Transmission. The
rear end is another special option that is the G88 heavy-duty
performance axle with 3.91 gears. The engine...Oldsmobiles Rocket
400 cubic inch beast. These engines were the unbreakable workhorses
of the times. Dependable and strong. The engine compartment has
been detailed very well. The Oldsmobile Gold is fresh and clean as
is the rest of car. The rest of the car has all the little touches
like dual mirrors, stainless trim, the correct 442 badging and most
importantly, turn-key ready for the road.The engine was rebuilt in
1998. By the receipts that we have, no expense was spared and
pretty much everything was either brought back to its glory or
replaced by new. Between the receipts and original documentation,
this car has also been well taken care of. This is one of those
cars that people search out to find as you probably well know, if
the previous owner took care of the little things, you can almost
tell that the bigger things were done with no question. In general
it is a great example of a well running, good looking
