This is a very nice, very desirable, '68 Camaro SS/RS. Although not
documented as there is no build sheet or original window sticker to
corroborate the facts, this Camaro does have all of the traits of a
true SS/RS. The engine and transmission are not original to the
car, but both have been rebuilt, and function properly. The R/S
headlights, the deluxe interior with full console and gauges, the
correct hood, stripes, brakes, and gauges, all point to the
origin of this car. This Camaro drives nice down the road, shifts
easily, and sounds great!
The Matador red base/clear paint shines very deeply, and was the
original color for this car. The black deluxe interior looks all
business, and with those bucket seats, console, and that 4 speed
stick jutting out from the console, this Camaro has a strong
performance look even in the interior.
The correct hood treatment, the SS gas cap, and the freshly
powder-coated Rally wheels and Red-line tires, the exterior of this
SS/RS certainly looks like the High performance street machine that
Chevrolet intended all those years ago.
Take a look underneath this Camaro and you'll find a clean, dry, no
rust anywhere, solid original undercarriage. The trunk compartment
is clean and solid too.
This is a very nice Camaro SS/RS with a small block and a 4 speed
that makes this Camaro super fun to drive, grabs looks everywhere
it goes, and has the right High Performance image we all look for
in a classic Car.
