Vehicle Description
Offered here is a low-mileage, highly-original and iconic 1967
Lincoln Continental 4-Door Sedan with the coveted suicide doors.
Mr. JT Sickler purchased this car new from Ft. Lauderdale Lincoln
Mercury and had the rear "Continental" badging tastefully altered
to read his last name. Based on the condition of the undercarriage,
documented service records and titles, the 29k on the clock is
believed to be original. The car also comes with the original build
sheet, original owners manual with original owners information, and
an original Ohio title, which was transferred to the second owner
before it came to Michigan in 2010. The car also comes with a
folder of service records, including new exhaust and mufflers,
transmission mounts, heater core, exhaust manifold gaskets, and
vacuum lines. The car starts and drives extremely well - floats
down the road.
This vehicle is finished in factory Cameo Green (code H), which is
a cool light green that almost looks white in some lighting, over
an original Dark Ivy Gold (1G) interior trim. The paint and
interior trim appear to be in original condition. This bold 4-door
suicide sedan is powered by the original 462cid/340hp 4bbl V8 mated
to an automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive. It is an
awesome vehicle and honors Lincolns glory days. It really is a
shame they didn't add the suicide door option in the new models.
Other noteworthy features include power windows, power steering,
power brakes, cruise control, and factory AC. Call or e-mail if
interested, or to make a reasonable offer. Thank you for
looking.
