Offered for sale for the first time to the public is this 1937 Chevrolet Resto-mod
Pickup. This a very detailed (and documented with over 123,000 in
receipts, not including price of truck or engine and tranny and
labor that was involved) and well thought out frame off build that
will please even the most scrutinous of car collectors. Starting
with the deep blue show stopping paint job. There has been no
expense spared or man hours in the metal work on this truck,
immediately you will notice the roll pan, custom led backup lights
and third brake light integrated into the tailgate. All new glass,
polished bright work. The fit and finish on this truck is
incredible and the gaps are almost perfect. Doors close just like a
new car with shaved door handles and poppers that work excellent
with the right amount of tension for opening. The stance on this
truck is just pure eye candy with just the right amount of rake to
show off its beautiful lines front to back. Features independent
front suspension with rack and pinion power steering, front disc
brakes and powder coating on all suspension parts. Powered by a 350
Chevrolet and backed up by a turbo 400 automatic and it all
breathes great through the powder coated exhaust system that has
the exact right sound whether you are getting on it or just
cruising around. Ford 9 inch rear end with 3:11 gears that make
this truck ride and drive great at freeway speeds. Brand new
wiring, Ididit powder coated tilt steering column. once you get in
the cockpit you can really see the attention to detail, starting
with the LeCarra leather wrapped steering wheel, vdo gauges,
overhead mounted pioneer cd, dvd, satellite radio receiver with focal
speakers and subs mounted under the seat with a fantastic sound and
pure pleasure to listen to your favorite music on. This truck even
has auto headlamps, custom cup holders and the best part is Vintage
a/c system. One of the coolest things is the gas filler location,
which is under the center bed slack that is operated by remote with
a backup system so you can’t even see it. Also features power
windows operated by period correct window handles. I have had the
pleasure of driving this truck to a few local car shows and it is a
real treat with the comfort and conveniences you would expect in a
new car. Just a note that I am a bigger guy and these truck I
usually find that I have to squeeze into, but the gentleman that
built this truck was a little larger himself and he set it up to
fit him, Don't worry if your normal size all you have to do is
scoot the seat forward.
