Vehicle Description
This 1970 Plymouth Duster is the classic Mopar that you'd want to
build yourself. With a performance-built 340 V8 and a bold green
application that's everywhere (including the undercarriage!) this
freshly restored coupe is ready turn heads right now.
Plymouth's flyweight Duster proved the old adage that taking weight
out was just as effective as beefing up horsepower. But what if you
did both, and then painted it a bright green? Well, you'd have this
incredible Duster 340. These compacts have always had the same
aggressive appearance of their large siblings, and now this one
will even just about glow in the dark thanks to a fresh coat of
Plymouth's legendary shade of Sassy Grass. It also doesn't hurt
that this has aggressive black accents of the blacked-out hood,
side stripes, 340 callouts, and large rear spoiler. But even with
its dark side, there's still room for brightwork. Because this only
has around 310 miles since its total quality restoration, the
bumpers and iconic Cragar SS wheels will have a showroom level of
shine.
Also, part of this total restoration was the interior. You can
really tell the level of detail and investment when you look at
everything from the bucket seats to the new glass. Plus, you've got
some great upgrades like the AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth and the
carbon fiber gauge panel with a full set of AutoMeter readouts. And
if that last one didn't get our heart racing, the B&M shifter
certainly will. It's all to convince you this is a true driver's
machine even before you twist the key and hear it roar.
The 340 cubic-inch V8 looks as bold as the rest of the car thanks
to the painted firewall and fender walls. And of course, everyone
loves to see the Mopar orange on the block and big air grabber.
Plus, the top of the motor isn't lying, because there's a nice
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor contributing to this full power
package. And more than just the inhaling deeply, the V8 is a true
stunner. It was rebuilt and blueprinted, and it now has all the
right performance components like Keith Black aluminum pistons,
electronic ignition, and a hotter camshaft. So you better believe
this one makes a menacing sound out of the stainless dual exhaust.
Even the three-speed automatic is an upgraded unit with a 2500 RPM
stall to keep you in the optimal powerband. And while you're
checking out the award-worthy painted undercarriage, don't forget
to also notice the investment in suspension upgrades that help
handle the extra power produced by this performance motor.
This is the machine that you will love to tear up the streets on
Saturday night, and then put a mirror under at the Sunday car
shows. It's the great total package you've been dreaming about, and
if you hurry, it can be a reality. Call today!!!
