Vehicle Description
Wow! Reduced again. Now use $151,900 This is a custom one-off 1941
2 door coupe built by Tucci Hot Rods. Starting from the bottom up,
the chassis is a hand made chassis by Tucci Hot Rods that accepts a
2006 C6 Corvette front and rear suspension. It uses Bilstein
coilovers on all 4 corners, the motor is a 2006 XLR-V Cadillac dual
intercooled supercharged Northstar. The supercharger has been
ported and polished and now makes just over 500 rear wheel
horsepower. The transmission is a 2006 Corvette 6 speed manual with
a custom made McLeod 2 disc clutch. The front end of the car has
been extensively modified by taking a stock 1941 grill and
completely disassembling it and custom making the stainless
uprights that were laid back, we then attached the original cross
pieces of the grill to the uprights to give it a more streamlined
look. The hood was then reformed out of 18 gauge steel to match
with the new grill design. The hood was also pancaked to give it a
much lower look. We retained all stock trim on the exterior of the
car and had all the pieces rechromed. The rear fenders were welded
to the body to make a much smoother transition from body to
fenders. The wheels are one-off by Colorado Custom, 20" wheels in
the rear and 18" wheels up front. The tires are Falken Tires front
and rear. It has a full Vintage Air A/C system, power steering,
power brakes and power windows. It has a 2010 CTS-V Cadillac
interior, where we took the center console and blended it into the
1941 dash. The gauges are Autometer built into the 1941 dash. It
uses a Touch N Go push button start system. It has HID headlights.
It also has one-off custom stainless steel headers and stainless
steel exhaust with Borla mufflers, stainless steel gas tank with
Aeromotive fuel system, and a yellow top Optima battery. This car
has won numerous awards along with being invited to be displayed on
the main floor at SEMA, on the cover of Hot Rod and Restoration
magazine as well as being the feature car and on display at the
2013 Hot Rod and Restoration show in Indianapolis. It has been shot
in a studio by Steet Rodder Magazine for a full feature which will
be out soon. The Caddy has been picked for a Top 100 pick for
Street Rodder Magazine. It won a 1st place at the 2013 Grand
National Roadster Show in Pomona, CA. as well as 1st place in the
Custom Rod category at the 2013 Detroit Autorama show. Dave Tucci
