This is a very unusual find. This is a life-long, garage kept
Desoto Deluxe Club Coupe that was very nicely restored in 2007.
The car sat in a clean garage for many years, extremely well
preserved until 2006 when a lucky new owner that had a black one
with a red interior purchased this car and had it restored to the
color combination of his desires that you see here.
This particular Desoto was a very clean, nice original car that
could have just had some sympathetic work done to it and been used.
However; the new owner at that time was fortunate enough to find
this car in such wonderful condition that he saw fit to restore it
to the amazing condition that you see here.
This Desoto starts, and runs so well, so smooth, and with the
Fluid-drive transmission, gives this car a driving experience like
no other. All facets of the car function properly. The car is an
easy cruiser, will not overheat, and you're pretty much guaranteed
to have the only one, if not the nicest one at any car show.
The black Base/clear paint is deep and shiny, all of the stainless
trim is nice and accounted for, and the bumpers as well are the
originals.
This Deluxe Coupe comes with some nice documentation also,
including some old photos from it's past, some of the original
papers and brochures form the dealership in 1948, and some previous
owner history.
This is a car any enthusiast would be proud to own. It's had such
good care, and maintenance and has only been improved upon with
nicer paint, interior materials, and a rebuilt original engine. If
you want something a little different, like everybody else, take a
good look at this clean unusual Deluxe Coupe.
