Here I have a 1992 Ford Mustang LX coupe with 38,588 documented original miles with a 5 speed transmission. It has its original paint with clear coat, all matching vin numbers and the original interior that still looks brand new. No accidents and since I have owned the car it has never seen rain. Garage kept and I have only put around 1200 miles on it in two years. Everything works and has no issues at all. No leaks and the AC blows cold and the heat works too. I only drive the car to local car shows and it has never been to the track. It looks like a drag car with the tire/wheel set up but I can assure you the car is not beaten up. I have never even done a burn out and the current wheel and tire set up have less than 800 miles on them. This is by far one of the cleanest foxbodys I have ever came across and they are getting hard to find. If you put original pony wheels back on the car it would look bone stock.
Now, the car has some tasteful mods but has not been hacked up. Under the hood you will find a stock bottom end with Edelbrock aluminum heads, e303 cam, gt40 intake manifold, egr spacer, 70mm tb, c&l intake pipe, 73mm maf, 19lb injectors, Ford racing shorty headers, x pipe, and flowmaster exhaust.
It has a Ford racing T5 transmission that was recently rebuilt by Revolution Motorsports due to 5th gear occasionally grinding sometimes. It has less than 1000 miles on it since rebuild and is flawless. 50oz flywheel and HD clutch. Ford racing once piece aluminum draveshaft with safety loop. 4.10 gear with moser 5 lug axles with new seals and fluid.
The k member was upgraded to a UPR tubular unit but I still have the stock one. Kenny Brown strut brace and panhard bar (very rare) UPR adjustable front coilovers with camber caster plates. Eibach springs on all 4 corners along with the 5 lug conversion. The wheels are Weld racing rts 17x4.5 front with Mickey Thompson 26" tires and the back are 15x9 with 275/50/15 radials.
