1962 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible
VIN: 62E064257
The 1962 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible was top of the line
and desirable. This is an example of Cadillac's Flagship Biarritz
as it is factory correct. The straight body is finished in Heather
and appears to have benefitted from a paint job in the recent past.
The chrome is in good shape as well and retains a good gleam. The
car looks fantastic. The glass is the factory correct Soft Ray
glass. The correct white convertible top appears to be newer and
comes down effortlessly at the flip of a switch. The iconic bullet
grille is a great detail of this Cadillac and compliments the
straight body and nostalgic tail fins. The car sits elegantly on
four Cadillac wheels with color matched inlays wrapped in
P225/75R15 tires. The interior is finished in the correct white
leather that is believed to be original in the rear. The front has
been re-upholstered in leatherette. The seats are in beautiful
condition and show no major signs of wear or tear. The door panels
and carpet are all in good condition. The dashboard and gauges
appear to be original and in excellent shape. There is minimal
cracking to the dashboard due to age. The dash also houses a
Wonderbar AM radio. Overall, the interior shows very well and is
lovely. It has many power options such as power top, power windows,
power locks, power vents and a 6-way power seat. Under the hood,
the massive 390cid Cadillac V8 engine power the Biarritz. The
engine is mated with a 4-speed Hydramatic automatic transmission.
The car is equipped with power steering, power brakes and factory
air conditioning.
