Vehicle Description
If you're going to look as mean as this 2004 Chevrolet Silverado,
you better have the power to back it up. That's why it's running a
fortified 630hp V8 with all the right supporting upgrades. And as
you dig deeper, you'll soon see that this full custom machine not
only looks fantastic, but also it's the most power you can get for
the money by far.
Let's start with the paint. A custom application of Charcoal Gray
metallic is perfect for this Silverado. It gives the pickup a first
impression that's both modern and mean. It also helps that this is
a fully coordinated build where the carbon fiber-style grille,
painted trim, and huge 22-inch wheels coordinate so nicely with
this color to give this mean machine a thoughtful touch. Of course,
other custom elements like the lowered suspension, side exhaust
tips, and cowl hood make sure that people are intimidated from any
angle. And if you wonder why they made the back look so nice with
the custom roll pan and LED taillights, it's because the rear is
the only view most people are going to see - this one gets ahead
and stays ahead!
Open the door to find a comfortable and loaded interior. After all,
just because you look tough on the outside doesn't mean you can't
ride in style on the inside. It starts with the modern factory seat
setup. This comfortable cloth setup allows you to sit three across,
or you can fold down the center armrest for individual comfort.
Either way, the driver is always king with the power-adjusting seat
and modern bolstering. You've got all the right factory features
like cruise control, dual airbags, power windows, power locks, and
ice-cold R134a air conditioning. It even comes with the original
owner's manual and other paperwork. But from the moment you grab
the steering wheel, you can see plenty of the right upgrades. After
all, just beyond that is a full set of AnImage stainless gauges.
Plus, with a modern AM/FM/CD stereo (with iPod connection) to your
right, and auxiliary gauges mounted on the pillar to your left, you
soon realize your surrounded by a full custom build.
But the best investment in this pickup is under the hood. About 15k
miles ago, a LS3 crate motor built by Grimes Racing was installed.
This fuel-injected powerplant has been stroked from 6.2-liter to
over 7.0. Plus, it has been upgraded with a Twister Stage 3 engine
package, AEM Brute Force intake system, Ultra Pro heads, Cali
cranks, and JE pistons. The fortified and fast motor is now
producing around 630 horsepower. And because you have to get that
kind of monster power to the ground, a four-speed 4L65 transmission
by RPM Motors was added that includes a 3300 RPM stall and B&M
trans cooler (it's a $12k investment alone that's designed to take
up to 750 hp!) This feeds the Trickflow Positraction rear end
running 3.73 gears for good all-around performance. The suspension
has also been upgraded to handle the power with Ground Force 2/4
drop lowering kit, Hellwig sway bars, and a Wilwood slotted &
vented four-wheel disc brake package. Add in power steering and the
grip of modern Nexen performance tires, and you have one unbeatable
custom pickup.
Huge power, huge intimidation, huge appeal, and it's all hugely
affordable. You know the asking price equals the labor costs alone,
so you also know a custom and complete powerhouse like this is
going to find a new home soon. If you want it to be yours, call
