Vehicle Description
A classic 1961 Ford Ranchero with an upgraded fuel-injected V8,
five-speed stick-shift, and an A/C interior...Oh yeah, and all the
bold modern blue that's used as a uniform feature throughout the
pickup. This is an exceptionally cool custom that you can pick up
for an exceptionally affordable price.
You know this is a cool custom from first sight. The blue metallic
paint has a great modern luster from a deep clearcoat. And those
Shelby-style dual stripes look fantastic as they cover from the
chrome from the curvy hood all the way through the tailgate. These
are cleared-in, too, for a uniform shine over the whole body. Out
back there's a tonneau cover, another great chrome bumper, and quad
tailpipes. In between these ends is a muscular profile provided by
the Cragar SS wheels staggered 14/15 inches front/rear for an
aggressive forward-leaning stance.
The slick blue of the exterior returns on the tops of the doors and
dash for a great uniform appearance. This also complements the
black elements nicely. Those classic buckets look like they were
borrowed from a first generation Mustang, but they are actually
electrically heated. This same classic appearance with upgrades is
seen throughout the rest of the interior. After all, the newer wood
and chrome three-spoke steering wheel has a timeless appearance.
And those Daytona gauges are newer piece with classic-style
markings. And we know you'll love modern luxuries such as the
AM/FM/CD stereo and ice-cold R134a air conditioning. But once you
spot the extra gear on the floor-mounted shifter, you know this one
was built for performance.
When you pop the hood you instantly see the unmistakable head of
fuel-injected blue-oval power. The upgrade to a later model Ford
302 cubic-inch V8 will impress everyone at the car shows, and it
really gives this Ranchero the powerful heart to back up its sporty
looks. Plus, the headers add even more horsepower as they also
contribute to the rumbling dual exhaust. You've got complete
control over this muscular V8 and its thunderous soundtrack thanks
to the five-speed manual transmission. And more than just a
terrific modern powerplant, the suspension has been upgraded to a
Mustang II style independent front unit with a thick sway bar. Add
in power steering and front disc brakes, and you've got one
impressive Ranchero.
It's hard not to love a cool custom Ranchero. But when it's fully
sorted with terrific features and priced less than a new F-150,
well then, you know it's absolutely irresistible. Don't miss out,
