Vehicle Description
For sale in our Houston Showroom is this Iconic 1968 Pontiac GTO.
The GTO was produced by Pontiac Motor Corporation for model years
1964 through 1974 and in the decade long stretch became one of the
most iconic muscle cars of all time. The 1968 model year was one of
the most desirable years and even selected as the Motor Trend car
of the year. This GTO is a very stunning shown in Richard Petty
orange paint finish (completed approx. 9 years ago) on the exterior
that shines as if it just rolled out of the paint booth. All of the
exterior trim, bumpers, glass, & emblems are all in like new
condition. The car sits on gorgeous 17 inch Cragar wheels that are
wrapped in Kumho tires that have plenty of tread on them. The
interior of this GTO looks as good as the exterior with keeping a
mostly stock appearance. You will find black vinyl bucket seat &
door panels that look great. The carpet, dash, center console, &
headliner are all in superb condition. The car features a CD player
with AM/FM radio mounted into the center console to control your
tunes while cruising. Looking through the windshield you'll see the
factory hood tach, this car has all of the right options. The best
part of the car is what is under the hood. Powering this beauty is
a 455 CID V8 that has been freshly rebuilt 15k miles ago. It sounds
purely awesome and with the dual exhaust you can hear this beast
rumble long before you see it coming. Paired to that monster V8 is
a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission that spins a 12 bolt posi
rear end with 3.31 gears. This GTO is rust free & is one of the
most sought-after muscle cars of the 70's era and it is simply an
iconic car that everyone would love to have! Options include: AC
(blows cold), AM stereo in dash and AM/FM CD stereo in the center
console, power steering, power brakes, seat belts, vinyl interior,
hideaway headlights, and hood tach. If you are looking for a
