I purchased this Classic TR6 in very used condition in September 2003 with the intention of completely restoring it to new condition as a gift to my wife. Total restoration was completed in 2005. Original parts were saved and refurbished where practical. Otherwise, all new parts were purchased. All work records and parts receipts were kept and are available. The car was completely stripped and then the body and frame were soda blasted. While the car was being repainted, the 6 cyl. 152 cu in engine was completely overhauled including re-boring for higher performance. The vintage tubular front and rear bumpers were re-chromed. New shocks, struts and brakes were added in 2016. The car has been driven only 64 miles since restoration. Even the new tires still have the "stipples" on the sidewalls. Everything is virtually new. Car runs great and sounds great with twin Monza mufflers. The only glitch is the Smiths temperature gauge dial moves to red when the ignition switch is turned on without starting the engine. My TR6 Forum says it's either a short in the temp sending unit wire or the Smiths gauge needs re-calibrating. Please....serious inquiries only.
