Stk 2288 2002 Pontiac Trans-Am
Pontiac celebrated 35 years of the Firebird with the 2002 Trans Am
WS-6 Collector Edition. Just under 2,000 Collector Editions were
built and this one is virtually brand new. Along with the extensive
interior and exterior appointments, Pontiac included the WS-6
performance package, highlighted by the LS1 5.7L V8 conservatively
producing 325bhp and 350lb/ft of torque. It was backed by a
six-speed Tremec T-56 manual transmission with optional short-throw
Hurst shifter. The WS-6 suspension package included HD springs/gas
shocks, sway bars, anodized brake calipers and a Torsen
posi-traction differential. The 1SA Option Group included: Ram Air
induction w/functional hood scoops, low restriction dual exhaust,
power steering cooler, traction control, 17" black painted WS-6
wheels with machined surfaces and Z-Rated 40-series radials.
Four-wheel ABS disc brakes were standard. In addition to the unique
Collector Edition Yellow finish, there are spoilers, black ribbon
stripping and an abbreviated 'screaming chicken' hood graphic -
symbolic of Trans AMs from the '70s and '80s. Inside, the seats are
wrapped in ebony leather with Collector Edition logo headrests.
Custom nameplates accent the lower door cards. Other convenience
features include: Delco Monsoon Premium AM/FM/CD, power tinted
windows, cruise, power locks, tilt wheel, six-way power driver's
seat and remote entry/alarm system. A briefcase full of
documentation and literature is included with the sale. This 15
year-old Collector Edition Trans Am is essentially a brand new
