Built for almost thirty years the Wagoneer saw only minor
mechanical changes during that impressive run time. Furthermore the
Wagoneer made its debut seven years before Land Rover launched its
Range Rover and 24 years before any of its American counterparts
offered there competition. It was considered the gold standard of
SUV's with its powerful V8 engine, high towing capacity and its
luxury style interior. They have become an icon with a cult like
following and late model low mileage examples have become
increasingly valuable.
This good example is finished in desirable green over tan and is
one of the 15,000 examples produced in 1985. It has a clean
accident free carfax and has been with its current owner since 2012
and they have put over $8,000.00 in to the mechanicals of the car
making it run and drive very nicely with everything in working
order including cold A/C. The interior is in very nice condition
with new tires as well. The Jeep was repainted in its original
color at some point. There is some minor rust in spots as depicted
in the pictures. All the wood laminate is in good condition except
for passenger side door. This Jeep comes with its original owners
manual and recent receipts.
