This 1960 Studebaker Lark is for sale in our Louisville KY
showroom. The Lark was a compact car released in the late 50's and
many would say was one of the first "little" American cars on the
market. With this being a 1960 Lark it was one of few built with
the Studebaker Packard Corp. since they only used it for 3 years.
The Lark was really suppose to save the company which at the time
was the oldest Automobile Company Studebaker had high hopes for
this little car. Unfortunately it would turn out to be a little too
late with the company going out of business in 1966. This 1960 Lark
is an excellent example of what these cars were. This beauty has
all the paperwork from the original bill of sale to the warranty
card for the seat covers. The white paint is clean and crisp while
showing no signs of major wear the owner car with the last owner
owning it since 1982 it has been well maintained with routine
maintenance and minor repairs. The chrome is in excellent shape and
really set the Studebaker apart from the rest. Under the hood is
the original V8 259 CI giving this Lark a 0 to 60 in ten seconds
flat. The inside is original to the car and looks like it has been
just maintained. The tan vinyl accents against the cloth seats are
everything you'd expect from Studebaker. If you have been looking
for an offbeat different kind of car that is guaranteed to get
looks no matter where you go this Lark is it. Options on this
Studebaker-Packard Corp. Lark III include; AM Radio. Bias Ply
Tires, Cloth Interior, Hub Caps, and the Orignal Numbers Matching
Engine. For more details on this 1960 Studebaker Lark VIII, please
