1996 Toyota 4Runner 4X4 Limited for sale. This was the top of the line 4Runner available and had a window sticker of $32,988.00 brand new. Loaded with options and comforts, fully functional and drives great. It just passed the California smog and is ready to go. The idle is smooth and the exhaust is quiet. It's fully functional including cruise control, ice cold air conditioning, upgraded stereo, sunroof, power windows, power seats, heating - all in excellent working order. It is equipped with the desirable 3.4L V6 FI DOHC 24V which runs smoothly with plenty of power. The 4X4 is in good working order, shifting is excellent and the truck is equipped with a tow package.
The body is super straight and rust free all around. The undercarriage is in nice, rust-free condition. The car appears to be accident-free. The clear coat is delaminating on the hood and roof as well as the fender molding. Otherwise looks good. Both front seats are showing some wear on the leather but the rest of the interior is pretty immaculate, especially considering its age and mileage. It has a very nice headliner, wood, excellent carpeting, dash, gauges, rear leather seating and switches. The windows are tinted.
The brakes and wheel bearings were recently serviced. The fluids look clean. The man we purchased it from stated that much servicing was done about a year ago in preparation for a very long road trip that he never ended up going on so it should be a very reliable and comfortable truck to enjoy for years to come. The Carfax shows no accidents or issues. Other than the cosmetic issues noted/shown, all seems to be in good working order. Mileage is 267K. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this 4Runner anywhere.
