Vehicle Description
For more than a century, automobile enthusiasts have considered Packard to be the epitome of elegant design and high quality engineering. Built during the depths of the Great Depression, this 1001 Coupe Roadster embodies Packard’s commitment to excellence and styling in the face of trying economic times. A true classic, the 1933 Packard 1001 Coupe Roadster was the only open-style body available in the Standard Eight, 1001 model series. The black exterior paint and red interior upholstery are highly presentable. Three years ago, this Packard underwent professional engine, transmission and differential rebuilds including the addition of a high-speed rear axle. The vacuum-boosted Bendix brakes have been rebuilt as well as the rear springs, spring shackles, and shock absorbents. Overall, this is a quality example of a rare and classic Packard. - See more at: http://owlshead.org/auctions/detail/1933-packard-1001-coupe-roadster#sthash.6PEi39U3.dpuf
