Vehicle Description
With an upgraded A/C interior, upgraded suspension, V8 power, and a
color borrowed from the Porsche palette, this 1940 Ford Tudor
Deluxe Sedan makes quite an impact wherever it goes.
This is the kind of vehicle were all the hard work has already been
done correctly. You see it in how the bumpers have been expertly
deleted so that nothing gets in the way of the intricate design of
the pointed front or the curvaceous rear. The light gray color has
that perfect tone to appear almost porcelain-like, and at the same
time, it complements all the brightwork trim better than white
could. Plus, it's always fun to tell people that this is the same
shade that Porsche once used... And people will believe you, too,
because the modern clearcoat has a terrific shine that highlights
all the curves of this Ford like it did on the fenders of a 911
Carrera. You'll also love all the great details on this thoughtful
build. It has all the right cool hot rod touches like dual
spotlights, bright twin tailpipes, and color-coordinated shields
within the rim so no brake dust gets on those iconic Cragar SS
wheels.
This is a very thoughtful custom-built interior, and that's evident
from the moment you step inside. The burgundy bucket seats are a
modern design that provide all-day comfort. And with less than
2,700 miles on the whole build, there was very little time to even
put a crease in them. We really love how the burgundy with gray
trim is coordinated on the side panels, headliner, seats,
carpeting, and even the trunk, to create a full uniform appearance
that comes on only the best builds. This is the kind of classic
that's meant to be shared with family and friends, and so it has
great upgrades to keep them comfortable like the AM/FM/cassette
stereo w/CD changer and ice-cold air conditioning running modern
R134a. But the best treats are just for the driver. The
factory-style dual spoke steering wheel was retained so this always
feels like a classic machine. And this also gives you a clear view
of the full VDO gauge package. Plus, your right hand will love the
Lokar shifter.
Since the rest of the car is built to show off, you'll be happy to
see the engine bay is, too. That Chevy 350 V8 has been given plenty
of shine with the air topper, valve covers, compressor, alternator,
pulleys, and plenty of other components. Beyond just flash, there's
the substance of a Holley four-barrel carburetor. This well-built
V8 makes a nice rumble out of the dual exhaust. Plus, as you look
through the undercarriage photos, you'll be happy to see upgrades
like performance-spec independent front suspension and the
adjustable coilovers in the rear. Add in front disc brakes and a
three-speed automatic transmission, and you soon realize this is a
great anytime cruiser.
This is an exceptionally clean and thoughtful build that's sure to
draw all the right attention. Your ideal '40 Ford is ready, but it
won't wait for long. Call today!!!
