Vehicle Description
1955 Chevrolet Bel Air
When it comes to classic cars it seems like everyone in the hobby
has owned a tri five Chevy at some point and there is no doubt why.
These cars have the ultimate classic look and are fairly easy to
find parts for. Even people with no interest in classic are likely
able to point out a vintage Chevy Bel Air. This 55 is a really well
done car with a lot of modern customizations that make it very
comfortable to drive. The body is in great shape with no damage or
signs of rust. The Neptune Green and Indian Ivory color combination
works perfectly on the car and is really striking to see out in the
sun. These cars were not lacking when it comes to chrome and trim
all of which are cleanly mounted in place on this car and shining
bright. From the exterior there is really no indication that the
car isn't a stock Chevy except for the very cool Coy Wheels that
hint this car might be packing a little more than the original set
up. The 17x8 inch rims up front and 18x8 inch rims in rear suit the
car well and are wrapped with Hankook tires that have plenty of
life left in them.
Under the hood this car is powered by a 350 V8 motor that starts up
smoothly and runs well with no smoking or issues. The engine
compartment has a really clean look with the firewall painted to
match the car and a majority of the motor done in Chevrolet Orange.
In addition to the cool Blacked out finned Edelbrock valve covers
and K&N open top air cleaner the motor has been fitted with a
slight cam, Patriot headers and an Edelbrock 625cfm carb. Paired
with the motor is a 700R4 automatic transmission with converter
control. The suspension has been entirely overhauled with CPP
components which include the front/rear sway bars, tubular control
arms, and 2 inch drop spindles. Power disc brakes have been added
in front and rear plus power steering making it a very drivable car
that can be taken anywhere.
The interior of the car is just as well done as the rest and done
in the original style Green upholstery. An aftermarket center
console was added to incorporate extra storage space, a center
armrest and cupholders all of which were left out on these cars
originally. The dash has been kept looking mostly stock except for
the Sony AM/FM/CD unit which delivers a great sound through the
added Polk speakers with 500 amp booster. All of the interior trim
is looking good as are all of the original style knobs and
switches. A Vintage AC/Heat unit was added so whether you're down
here in Texas or up North you can drive in comfort.
This cool 55 needs nothing but a new home and is being offered up
at a price that won't break the bank!
Park it in your garage for $34,500.00!
