We recently purchased this Toronado Deluxe from the previous older female Montana owner and as you can tell in the pictures and video it was her pride and joy for sure !! She purchased the car from the estate of the previous owner in 2014 who was a collector and had owned this BEAUTY for many years. It is RARE as only 20,020 Toronado Deluxe Hardtops were built in 1967 !! It still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - firewall mounted Oldsmobile data plate and it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - driver's door pillar mounted Oldsmobile VIN tag, both of which are shown in several pictures. This is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Montana - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western car and it shows! THIS IS A QUALITY CAR THAT IS READY TO DRIVE, SHOW AND ENJOY !!
At the heart of this Toronado Deluxe is what appears to be the VERY STRONG !! - FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "RT" - (385 Horsepower from the factory !!) 325 CID "Rocket V8" motor that is running very well indeed and also sports the ORIGINAL 4 barrel intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL "Dual Snorkel" air cleaner housing and an ORIGINAL 4 barrel carburetor. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style dual exhaust system with dual chrome tips. The engine is backed by a - SMOOTH - Three speed - "THM-425" - Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission which is also functioning very well. The suspension and drive line all seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless Steel exterior body trim and moldings are in NICE condition including a NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front bumper, Good ORIGINAL Chrome rear bumper, VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging and a NICE ORIGINAL front grill. Take a look at the AWESOME Factory Original stainless steel Oldsmobile wheel covers mounted on the ORIGINAL steel wheels wrapped in BRAND NEW Hankook whitewall steel belted radial tires, boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this Toronado and really give it that CLEAN - "Factory Original" look !! The Clean - Solid trunk also sports a NEW black carpet liner and a NEW full size whitewall steel belted radial spare tire. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses & reflectors are clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL! This Toronado Deluxe is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right!
