Here is an absolutely Beautiful 1951 Pontiac Chieftain Super Deluxe
Catalina Eight 2dr HT in excellent condition inside and out. This a
very well kept survivor with only 21k pampered original miles on it
and it shows. The car has a completely all original leather
interior that shows beautifully. It received a light cosmetic
restoration on the exterior once over the years. The Super Deluxe
was made special by using exclusive colors and was only available
in Malibu Ivory or Sapphire Blue or a combination of these two
colors. Inside the Super Deluxe Catalina instrument panel is
especially designed to blend with the exclusive color scheme of
this model. The upper part of the panel is lacquered in gorgeous
Sapphire Blue, the lower section in Malibu Ivory. This car
has the optional all-leather interior. Under the hood, power comes
from a 248.9 cubic inch eight cylinder Silver Streak engine
producing 116 horsepower. This is paired with the optional
Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
This is one of the last cars out of the famed Art Astor collection
in southern California. He had owned the car for many years and out
of all the cars he owned this was one of his favorites. The car is
completely rust free and has been in California for the past 27
years. It was sold new at Russ Regenold Pontiac in Anderson,
Indiana to an Anna Greer and I still have a copy of the original
Indiana title in her name from December 1st, 1951. Along with this,
there is a full binder on this cars history and prominence. This is
a very rare car as it is one of only 1,382 built in 1951. It has to
be one of the cleanest and lowest mile examples left in the
world!!

This Pontiac has an absolutely beautiful, Sapphire Blue & Malibu
Ivory paint finish. The car was painted once in its original color
and they did an excellent job, hand rubbed to a smooth as glass
finish. It has excellent body with no chips or dings and is
completely rust free. All the chrome and trim on the car is mint,
like new. It still has its paint in the jams and even its original
weather stripping in great condition still. It is sitting on its
original wheels with original hubcaps on white wall
tires.
Interior: ??
The all-original, blue and white leather interior looks excellent.
The dash, gauge cluster and steering wheel all look mint. The
original leather seats have a little tear in the driver’s cushion
and split in the seam on the rear seat cushion. We left it as is
due to the fact it is all-original. If you want the option to
repair it or have seats redone, we can have it done here at an
extra cost. Inside the trunk all original and like new with its
original spare and jack.
?Mechanically: ??
The car runs and drives excellent. Under the hood is completely all
original and still has all its original, factory markings and
decals. This car needs absolutely nothing mechanically and is ready
to drive and enjoy.
