This shapely '50's cruiser shares many body components with the
Chevy Nomad with a few unique changes in the style department which
makes this Safari Wagon an eye catching vehicle. We love the
classic wagon shape, chrome side trim, two tone paint, and plenty
of chrome front and back. We are excited to offer this very clean
Safari Wagon for sale.
The car has been fully repainted in the original color scheme at
some point in its life. Paint is currently in very nice condition,
and the body is solid overall. All trim is present and shows a few
small blemishes, but looks to be all original.
The interior features two tone seats that match the exterior color
scheme, very nice trim and button/switch condition, carpet is in
very nice condition throughout.
The 'Strato Streak' engine "breathes" through a 4BBL carburetor and
is mated to a 2-speed Hydramatic transmission. Recent maintenance
includes re-built carburetor, new brake shoes, rebuilt brake
booster, new front wheel cylinders, new battery, new spark plugs,
new distributor cap/rotor, and new fuel filter.
