Vehicle Description
This 1968 Volkswagen was the recipient of a total ground-up
professional restoration. The project started in 2012, and after
five years the car was completed. The body was stripped down to an
empty shell and worked for hundreds of hours until every line and
curve was to the owner's satisfaction. The car is finished in a
very rare VW color Beryl Green, which was mainly found on
European-market vehicles. The interior is all brand-new with new
German loop carpet, new low-back seats, new door panels and a new
headliner as well. All materials used for the inferior are exact
OEM German spec with the correct heat lines, embossing and colors.
All of the chrome is new including the front and rear bumpers.
Every window rubber is new German-made seals, new running boards
new side and hood moldings. It also has new brakes, a new clutch
for the 4-speed manual transmission and a professionally rebuilt
factory German 1600cc engine. A vintage roof rack, German fender
medallion and a nice set of whitewall tires to complete the classic
look.
