For Sale: 2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS in Jefferson, Wisconsin

Vehicle Description

This car is not for the timid! It is modified to perform and you will need to be prepared for this.

We have some of the receipts for the performance upgrades. I will tell you that the upgrades cost more than our asking price!

Let’s start with the cosmetic upgrades: the lights are now ANZO halo headlights, amber front w/clear lenses, all other lenses are tinted. The wheels are new RPM 505 18″ with Nitto 555 tires, all new last year,

The brake rotors are drilled and slotted. A line lock has been added. There is an adjustable proportioning valve. Theses modifications required that the ABS be removed.

The battery is now in the trunk with remote shut off switch. The Optima red top was new last year.

The suspension is heavily modified to handle the horsepower. The subframe connectors are welded in. It now has heavy duty front and rear sway bars. The shocks are heavy duty by KYB. There are new lower a-arms. There is a strut tower brace. In the rear you will find a new control arm and adjustable panhard bar.

The exhaust starts with Pacesetter 1.75 inch headers. It has QTP exhaust cut-outs. There is a Pacesetter no-cat y-pipe and the balance is by Magnaflow.

The transmission is a performance built T56 six speed. It was rebuilt in 2015 by Late Model Throttle. They also installed and aluminum flywheel, LS7 clutch, new clutch slave cylinder and new Tick Stage 2 internals, bearings and syncros. The clutch master is now a Tick Tilden model with remote bleeder.

The 346 Cubic inch LS1 engine was also rebuilt by Late Model Throttle. They kept the factory bottom end, but added TSP aluminum heads, Comp cam, Fast 92 intake and throttle body, Bosch O2 sensors and underdrove the belt. The engine made 425 horsepower at the rear wheels!

This is still a very nice car. It has never been rusty. The paint is still nice with only a few small touch-ups. The glass is all tinted. The T-tops have the proper storage. The wheel and tire combination really added to the appearance.

The interior is also very nice. The leather is supple. The appearance is stock with just a few subtle mods. The factory stereo sounds great. The steering wheel controls function.

All features function with exception of the ABS and the A/C  (removed). The power windows and doors work. Even the remote control works. We have two chipped keys that go with it.

This car is a blast to drive! You need to have experience to handle it. I’m not sure what it will do at the track. But as a drag racer, I am confident that it will be impressive.
