For Sale: 1963 GMC 1000 in phoenix, Arizona

Vehicle Description

For sale is a stunning 1963 GMC Pick-up in the most desirable configuration - Big Window, Short Bed, Fleet-side.  Just like a Chevrolet C10.  Everything has been touched on this frame-on restoration.  The truck has been featured on Detroit Steel Wheels' and Precision Replacement Parts' (video) Instagram accounts.

PAINT - Starting with a solid, Arizona truck, the truck was disassembled and sand blasted to bare metal. All materials used for the paint were high-end Omni products that will stand the test of time. The custom flat white with gloss silver looks amazing with the red pinstripe done by Hollywood Brisco. All paint work done by Spike, formerly of Hot Rod Alley.

EXTERIOR - All of the following parts are New: windshield, windshield and rear window moulding, door moulding, hood moulding, both bumpers, side-view mirror, grille, headlights, all emblems, door handles, tail-gate latches. New LED turn signal and tail lights and lenses. All wiring has been inspected and cleaned up or replaced. Everything works from headlights to tail lights. Electrical work performed by Purgatory Customs. All of this is finished off with an incredible custom stained red oak bed with polished stainless steel trim and new wheel tubs. The rest of the bed was treated with liner. Original gas tank filler and stake pockets in the bed filled.

INTERIOR - Cab completely stripped and fully painted. Gas tank relocated out of cab with a new aluminum tank under the bed. Seat fully rebuilt and recovered by Interiors by Glenn with new foam and vinyl. Custom, hand-fabricated dash with all new Omega gauges. FatMat sound and heat barrier installed before new carpet was put done. Lokar Shifter and kickdown cable. Lokar gas pedal and throttle cable (NIB). New rearview mirror, visors, brackets, door handles, window cranks. Interior vents rebuilt and painted. The interior color sets off the truck perfectly and the final touch was the door panels, glove box and dash being dipped in HydroGraphix.

SUSPENSION - Complete CPP 12" brake and front-end kit (https://www.performanceonline.com/Disc-Brake-Conversion-Kit-1963-66-Chevy-Truck-C10-Front-Power-5-and-6-lug/) installed by Purgatory Customs. 2.5" drop spindles, drilled and slotted rotors, master cylinder, calipers, booster, proportioning valve and CPP shocks. This kit also upgrades the ball joints and tie-rod ends to newer versions. Rear End rebuilt.  18" Detroit Steel Wheels powder coated and then custom painted to match with Toyo 245/45 front and 255/45 rear.

ENGINE/TRANS - The Small Block Chevy was freshened by Fastway engines and has Edelbrock aluminum heads, Performer RPM manifold and Edelbrock carb. The ignition is all MSD with a MSD Pro-billet distributor, MSD 6A and Blaster coil. The Hedman headers are coated and the truck sounds great with the Flowmaster exhaust.  Hi-torque mini starter and recored Harrison radiatior.  New parts in the engine bay include: fan shroud, battery tray, all hoses and wire loom, hood hinges powder coated, billet recovery tank and tranny cooler. The transmission is a rebuilt Turbo 350 with a shift kit.

The truck is ready to drive and show anywhere. It runs cools and drives straight! We do not need help selling it and will not respond to low-ballers. No disappointments. This truck is a real head turner and is ready for a new home. Drive home anywhere today.
