I bought one of these in 1979 when they were first introduced. I spent a great deal of time trying to find another one and about 6 years ago found this one. It's the GSL model with 30,500 original miles. The body is about a perfect you could expect for a car that's 32 years old. The hood has been repainted years ago but my guess becuase of rock chips. It's a perfect match. 5spd, carbureted, power windows and power assisted steering. The only flaws are the drivers side leather seat has a small cut in the seat and the bolster has some wear which I tried to show in attached photos. Car runs absolutely perfect. Everything works including the radio and clock. The air conditiong works also but could probably use a recharge..
If you follow these cars, you know they were all built in Japan and were shipped with a special coating in the engine compartment to protect the engine compartment and components. It still has that coating. I live in the suburbs of St. Louis and the car can be seen at my building where I keep my collection of classic cars. I am firm on this price as I just lowered it today.
