Wearing correct White over Black livery, this 750 F series
Giulietta Spider comes furnished with its original engine, tunnel
case transmission, sheet metal and "466" body number stampings. The
previous caretakers of 14 years were very attentive to the
Giuletta's upkeep as it served them well throughout their
ownership. Fit and finishes are very consistent throughout the
vehicle with older but presentable glossy paint, bright chrome,
Vredestein tires mounted on vented steel wheels. It is believed the
current paintwork was applied 25-30 years ago, while the seat
covers and top were refreshed 14 years ago. Its interior cabin
compliments with red piped seating and door panels, red carpeting
and correct vinyl mats - a factory radio-delete plate remains
mounted. Original jack, tire iron and spare wheel are stowed behind
the seats. Both luggage and engine compartments are very clean and
orderly, while the rear contains correct rubber mat. 04480's
undercarriage appears very solid and honest, with original
sheetmetal and frame supports under a thinning layer of
undercoating.
In 2016, Engine No. 31210 received a complete top-to-bottom engine
out rebuild including new internals by its longterm service
provider Auto Europe of Birmingham, Michigan - with invoices to
accompany from 2003-2016. While currently equipped with Weber DCOE
carburetors and better performing spark plug wires, the Veloce is
complete with ALL original intake components, including the
sandcast 40 DCO3 carburetors, airbox, plenum, linkage, clamps,
hoses, Bosch generator, coil and correct green wires. All
electrical items on the vehicle are in proper working order,
including the lights, gauges, horn and wipers, while the mechanical
aspects are on key with the tight feel, quick revs and peppiness
that these cars are known for. Really an turn-key example with a
fantastic diving feel!
Engine compression reads: 170 PSI on all four cylinders
Eligible for important vintage driving tours across the Globe, here
is very honest Giulietta Veloce Spider, ideal for instant enjoyment
and collectability.
