This is a proper Nostalgia Pro Stock Plymouth Arrow. It has era correct wheels and hood scoop.
A friend of a friend offered it to me. He was in need of some cash. The car was a roller when he bought it. He installed the powertrain, update the cage and finished up the brakes, fuel and ignition.
The engine is a .060 over 440 built by Steve Koffel. It has Venolia 11.5-1 Pistons, Brodix B1-S1 heads, Comp. roller cam, Miller aluminum rods, Donovan Gear Drive, Koffel rocker arms, ARP studs, Indy oil pump, Milodan Drag pan, Team G Intake, Demon 1050 carburetor, big tube headers, electric fan and pump, electric fuel pump, MSD ignition, etc.
The 727 transmission is race built. It has a TCI 4500 stall converter flex plate and KMJ. The rear end is a narrowed 8.75 with 4.56 gears and a spool.
The body is extraordinarily nice. There never has been rust. The paint is older, but in great condition. It is all steel except for the hood. The windows are all glass from Mopar. The door windows roll up and down. The hatch still opens with they key. Heck, the doors still lock with the key!
The interior is Spartan with race buckets. There is a compliment of gauges. The steering wheel is removable. There are two race buckets. The cage has been certified. The door panels and headliners are factory.
The Supertrick wheels have rear new tires mounted. The rears are 15-32’s.
This car is fully built to be a race car. It is not street legal. We do have a title with VIN matching to original serial number on the plate.
While I haven’t run it yet, this car is said to be race ready. I have moved it around enough to believe that claim. In my opinion, it should dip into the 9’s.
