1986 CORVETTE YELLOW INDY PACE CAR CONVERTIBLE
Beautiful original collector car. 22140 actual miles. This car is in superb and clean original condition inside, outside, under hood, and suspension. Original BLACK top still looks as new, not even a "foggy" window. This car has been maintained regularly even though only driven 10-20 miles per year for the last 19 years. Mechanically and aesthetically nearly as new, runs and shifts great and Strong!
Black top, Graphite leather sports seats, automatic, 6 way power driver seat, power door locks, power windows, AC, cruise control, heavy duty cooling system with boost fan and oil cooler, Bose stereo, tilt/telescoping steering wheel. All available options.
Original INDY graphics were stored flat for 15 years and were finally CORRECTLY installed a few years ago. Includes all original literature, brochures, window sticker ( plus additional reproduction copies ), leather owner's manual portfolio, decal box, all service records since new, factory service manuals and parts catalog, Bose demo tape, etc. I am the second and fourth owner, most recently since 1997, and have full documentation of all sales since new. Meticulously pampered, always garaged and covered.
New Pirelli tires and some aftermarket extras along with all original parts and tires.
Appraised at $ 22,000 - $ 26,000 in 1999.
Many special items and memorabilia included: Matching framed drawing / specifications sheet, framed original information flyer & laminated reproduction window sticker, 1986 yellow convertible collector plate, "Vette" Magazine plaque / engraved plate featuring this car, hand built 1:24 replica of this car with display case, multiple 1986 Corvette magazine features and original 1986 INDY 500 " PROGRAM ".
If you are looking for an extremely nice low miles yellow 1986 Pace Car, you will not be disappointed. It took me 2 years to find one this nice, and that was 27 years Ago! Then when I decided I wanted another one after selling it, I went through the time, trouble, and expense to locate and buy back this car. I knew this car well, and it mostly sat covered in a garage during the time I didn't own it. I HAD TO GET IT BACK!
It is with great regret that I will be selling it again. I have been waiting and hoping for a chronic health condition to improve for many years, but have been well enough to only put about 400 miles on it in the last 20 years. I hesitantly must finally accept reality and forget about enjoying this car. It really should go to someone who can truly enjoy it, drive it, show it, or whatever...
I will be asking $ 24,500 for this beautiful car and all the "Stuff". Email me with any questions or concerns.
