1954 Chev Bel Air, rare 2-door post, only 38K actual miles with
documents and testimony from original owner's son. One family owner
and title from 1960. Only transferred in 1960 because they moved,
but stayed in Nebraska. All original finish with polish throughs.
Excellent stainless, very straight sides. Matching radials, stock
full hubcaps. Grill and hood ornament like new. Always garaged and
maintained. Recent receipt for $2619 for new aluminum radiator,
complete tune-up, complete brakes and wheel cyls, new exhaust front
to rear, new master cyl, fuel and water pump. The $2619 did not
include the labor, they did it themselves. Factory radio option and
heater. Optional and desirable rear bumper over ride and fender
skirts. Rust-free all sheet metal, floors, frame and body mounts
all excellent (Nebraska does not use salt) and was driven only 38K
and was driven by a farmer who always took care of his machinery.
This sat next to the John Deere tractors in the winter. Very sharp
dash with all original excellent chrome. All gauges clear and
lights work. Door panels are excellent except left door armrest.
Original key from new. Great running bigger 235 6-cyl with factory
3-speed manual for even more pep. Very fun to drive and converse
with. Great example of an original 54 Bel Air with great history.
