For Sale: 1948 Packard Super Eight Series 22 Woodie Station Sedan in Rancho Mirage, California

$125,000 (OBO)

Vehicle Description

Offered here for your consideration is an exemplary 1948 Packard Super Eight Series 22 Woodie Station Wagon. Fewer than 3,900 of this model were produced in 1948. This Packard is very fine and exquisite. Restoration of this car was accomplished with great care and attention to detail. All the individuals who labored restoring this vehicle were master craftsmen as the photos attest. Paint and brightwork are near flawless. The solid exterior hardwood remains in excellent condition. The interior masterfully applied wood-grained dash, with clear coat, window frames, back cargo floor plus tailgate are outstanding. A true artist accomplished the task of wood-graining this vehicle. Interior brightwork, the gauge cluster, radio, clock and interior appointments show as-new. The interior wood headliner and attaching hardware are remarkable. Upholstery is both cloth and leather. The photos speak volumes for the fine condition of the interior upholstery of this wagon.

The wonderful Super Eight engine and bay are clean, detailed and dry. Great care was taken to bring this car up to it's present condition. Minor flaw: Flaking varnish was noticed on the tailgate and the roof rack that will need attention soon. (Please see photos).

I believe whoever is fortunate enough to purchase this remarkable vehicle will be thrilled upon delivery. For additional information please phone Dave Henry at 805-705-4924.

Please note: I will add the current odometer reading soon.
