Here we have a super solid 1954 Chevrolet 3100 5 window pick up.
This truck received a frame off restoration many years ago where it
also received a fresh 235 6 cylinder engine, 12 volt conversion
with electric wipers, new fuel lines, brake lines, etc... The body
has a great fit and finish to it and from the looks of the
underneath the truck has never been rusty or rotted out, excellent
body. The paint is showing it age a little bit but I imagine a good
buffing would do wonders. The drivers front fender looks to be the
worst of it and may need repainting to bring it up with the rest of
the trucks paint. All chrome looks to be in really good shape along
with the wood bed. The windshield is new and the small cab windows
appear to be new, back glass is probably original. Both door glass
are cracked and may need replacing but roll up and down fine and
have been this way for the last 12-13 years, you're going to roll
them down anyhow. The interior is pretty basic and looks good. The
235 engine runs like a top and the 4 speed transmission shifts
through all the gears and the clutch is tight. We just put on new
wide white radial tires also. Good truck through and through.
