This is an amazing and simply gorgeous condition Jaguar XJ6 saloon.
Finished in blue steel with navy interior there is virtually
nothing on this example that is not simply immaculate. The best way
to describe this Jaguar is to pretend you are in the mid 80's and
you are buying a well-kept certified 1983 Jaguar from the
authorised dealer. This was originally a west coast car its whole
life so it is without a spec of rust anywhere. The car was owned by
2 meticulous owners who added most of the low 70,000 miles thru
highway driving. Everything works as it should and as pictures
show, is in immaculate presentation. Recently serviced and all in
working order to include new shock and steering bushings and brake
service by experienced technicians. Mechanically the car is
fantastic with know issues. Just a quick look under the hood is
testament to how well this XJ6 has been maintained. Every single
feature and function works as it should; windows, door locks,
sun-roof, antenna, stereo, A/C, heater, interior and exterior
lights, horn (both high and low).... the complete list. Body and
paint is excellent. Very shiny and consistent with hardly a minor
chip here in there. There is no rust in the typical areas namely;
the bottom of the front and rear windows, lower fenders, rockers
and wheel arches. The wheels are the rare and far more attractive
European specification "Pepper pot" alloys reserved for the
Sovereign model. Mounted are specification correct Pirelli P6000's.
The mudflaps are factory issue Jaguar not often seen on US spec
cars. The interior is quite a stunning aspect of the car with no
noticeable wear. The carpets are excellent and the original
broadcloth wool headliner is in perfect condition without any of
the typical "droop" usually seen on this model. on the leather
seats, carpets or headliner. The leather is like a 5 year old
example, the dash like a new one and the mahogany wood is virtually
without any fading, lifting, peeling or cracking in the lacquer.
Have a close look at the buttons and switch gear; they look like
human hands have never touched them. Simply amazing. The rear
parcel shelf shows no sign of fade. She is also a non-smoker car so
clean and sweet. Not much more can be said but to invite you to
take a close look at the many, many photos of this great Jaguar
saloon. Truly an immaculate example, I am sure you will agree.
Surely amongst one of the better examples available for sale today.
