Stk 2270 2002 Ford Thunderbird
"Thunderbird - A new kind of personal car that combines sports car
styling and performance with passenger car conveniences." This was
the heading on Thunderbird's sales brochure in 1955. The first
T-bird rolled off the assembly line on September 9, 1954. Many
configurations of that initial model followed, but our 2002
Thunderbird roadster honors its classic roots. This totally
original 3-owner 2002 roadster is a garage-kept example of a modern
luxury sports car. The car's history is documented by a furnished
CarFax report. Both the Inspiration Yellow exterior, accented by
factory aluminum alloys, and the Black/Yellow Nudo leather interior
are in excellent condition. All eleventh generation T'birds were
based on Ford's DEW platform. This Thunderbird is equipped with
variable-assist power steering, ventilated ABS disc brakes and a
host of other safety and convenience features including: cruise,
climate-controlled A/C, power seats, power tinted windows,
tilt/telescopic wheel, power locks, removable hardtop, power

As for the drivetrain, Blue Oval powerplants have come a long way
since that '55 Y-block '292'. This beautiful roadster is powered by
Ford's 3.9L fuel injected V-8 that produces 252bhp @ 6,000RPM. The
high-revving engine is an all-aluminum DOHC design with 4-valves
per cylinder and is backed by a 5-speed/OD automatic transmission
