A collector’s dream!
1934 saw Cadillac, the standard of the world, increase interest
in streamline styling. Both the Fisher and Fleetwood body styles
offered up to 52 body variants, ensuring Cadillac had the car for
you. The V12 powered Fleetwood Town Sedan, style designation 6033,
offered room for the entire family with a "two window roofline"
that while formal, evoked the sporty lines of 1930's American
Automobiles. Built in limited numbers, few are known to survive
today and are highly sought after by collectors around the
globe.
This example is finished in stunning Richmond Maroon with a tan
broadcloth interior, and is among one of the finest V12
Cadillacs we’ve seen in years. This beautifully restored Cadillac
is a series 370D (body style 6033-S). It harnesses a 133 bhp, 368
cubic inch OHV V-12 engine, three-speed selective-shift manual
transmission, independent front suspension with coil springs,
three-quarter floating rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs,
and four-wheel vacuum-assisted mechanical brakes and has a
wheelbase of 146 inches. It is well-equipped with many options
including: a hot water heater, flexible steering wheel, trunk rack,
painted wire wheels, goddess hood ornament, as well as rear
compartment dual footrests and umbrella cabinet. A copy of its
original build sheet, which accompanies the car, notes that it was
delivered to A.W. Golden, Inc., the Cadillac dealer in Reading,
Pennsylvania, and tagged for sale to Mr. L.J. Clarke. Importantly,
the car retains both its original flat windshield Fleetwood Town
Sedan bodywork and V12 engine. This investment-grade Fleetwood V12
Sedan exhibits the highly coveted “Bi-Plane” Bumpers, a
feature unique to the 1934 production year. Ready to make an
