Talk about a cool old car...this 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix is a
classic early 60s car. Under the hood is a Pontiac 400 cubic inch
engine mated to a 3 speed hydro-matic automatic transmission. Power
steering and brakes make this car a great driving machine. Inside
is a factory console with floor mounted shifter and tachometer. The
tunes are provided by a Wonder Bar radio with a power
antenna...both of these work as does the rear speaker switch (you
can blend the sound from both speakers or strictly use the front or
the rear speakers alone. All gauges turn signals headlights tail
lights and brake lights work as designed. There is even a working
trunk light that unfastens from its mount and becomes a trouble
light in case of a flat tire. The interior is in great shape .Also
equipped with legendary 8 lug wheels which we all love! The black
ceramic coated paint looks beautiful on the laser- straight body.
The chrome is in excellent shape as is the interior bright work.
Underneath this car is solid and was undercoated back in the day
when it was normal practice. This car exudes the classic look of
the 1960s...2 door hardtop...slanted rear mounted antenna...bucket
seats...console with floor shifter. It doesn't get much cooler than
this. A great car to cruise in and be proud to take to the shows.
