Vehicle Description
The godfather of modern SUVs this Willys Wagon traces its roots to
1946. Professionally restored, this is a great example of the way
SUVs were in 1960. The professionally rebuilt Continental Super
Hurricane Flathead-6 engine is beautiful to look at and runs great.
The 3-speed manual transmission shifts well and features an
overdrive function for more modern highway gearing. The rust-free
body was professionally painted and shines better-than-new. All
lights operate like new. The fuel, speedometer, oil pressure and
temperature gauges all work great. The vacuum wipers have been
replaced with more effective electric units. The interior benefits
from a high-end restoration. All seat frames were painted when the
body was painted and they feature new high-end seat covering, foam
and springs throughout. The headliner and side panels are all
better-than-new. All woods floor rails have been removed, sanded
and redone and look beautiful. The battery is new, as are all five
military-spec tires. This meticulously restored Willys has always
been stored in a heated and air-conditioned garage.
