Vehicle Description
The panel was an option on the '67 Type III. Only a handful were
ever produced, and to find one today is a very rare treat indeed.
This was an open-checkbook custom build where money was no object.
The Corvette Yellow paint is incredible, with all handpainted
pinstriping and graphics from So Cal. It rides on custom Enkei 17"
rims wrapped in low-profile BFGoodrich Scorcher T/As. It also has
disc brakes on all four corners with polished and drilled rotors.
This VW definitely has the look. The all-custom interior features
polished diamond-plate flooring and competition JBL sound system.
The engine and undercarriage are also painted to match the body
with custom handpainted graphics and pinstriping. The engine is a
1,641cc motor assembled by a famous VW builder in Southern
California. It features Cima/Mahle 87mm pistons and cylinder kit
with new VW heads and dual Weber carbs. Feature car in numerous
American and German magazines. A well-known car on the Volkswagen
scene.
